An exam project in dynamic sound design for game audio. Created using Unity and FMOD.

Storyline

The story is about a person, who is haunted by re-recurring dreams/nightmares. In the dream, they drive down the same old forest road always crashing. leading them to wander around a twisted dream landscape until they find safety or die trying.

Design considerations

In the sound design, I’m trying to convey a mixture of a mysterious cosy but isolated experience and the more scary and suspenseful. The path you take will decide which sounds you hear, almost like tuning a radio.
